Sr. IT Analyst

Job Description:

• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or deductions.
• Review and verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll-related compliance, including tax filings and audits.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related benefits.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate reporting of employee hours and leave balances.
• Prepare payroll reports for management as needed.
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll software systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Works with business partners and vendors to analyze and define the business process that needs an IT solution.
• Identifies and documents high-level requirements, maps future state of the payroll and time and attendance solutions, and ensures the system/solution meets business and user requirements.
• Document and map business process and requirements for the future state of the payroll and time and attendance solutions.
• Identify and understand the end user's need. Facilitate the business process redesign and documentation as needed.

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum [2-4] years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and practices.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
