Provide counseling services to VU students including: assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, direct and indirect psycho-educational programs, supervision of graduate level interns (if applicable), and psychological and organizational consultation.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide Individual Counseling.
• Provide Crisis Intervention.
• Provide Outreach and Educational Services to the campus community.
• Assess the needs of the student.
• Consulting with other staff members and community partners.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.

Have 1-2 years experience providing direct therapeutic services to individuals in a college counseling center, mental health or psychiatric setting.

Should be license eligible and able to obtain license within 3 years of employment.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

To be able to perform other duties as assigned.
