Job Summary

As a Strategic Account Manager at Oldcastle Infrastructure, you are a Sales leader for managing our largest key accounts in the water sector. You will work with water solution application engineers, field sales and regional sales leaders to develop technical solutions for a broad range of solutions across potable, stormwater and wastewater end markets. You will proactively engage and partner with engineers, municipalities, and other influencers in the water sector to function as a technical resource and to meet the commercial objectives of the water solution business. You will also create and execute a business development strategy as the primary point of contact for your accounts at a senior level. You are a natural leader who thrives in a group setting, and your energy inspires others around you!

Job Responsibilities

The skills you need to succeed:

  • You have experience selling complex solutions or technologies.
  • Drive profit growth to meet defined district profit increase goals by developing and executing a regional water strategic plan to maximize revenue.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with our suite of water solutions.
  • You are entrepreneurial minded with a strong drive and desire to be part of a rapidly growing business.
  • You are organized and adaptable, able to demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients & field commercial sales teams, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for driving growth across our water platform
  • Keeping track of key performance indicators (KPIs) and key account metrics, using data-driven insights to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and strategizing to expand the company's footprint in the water market.
  • Staying updated with water industry trends and market developments, anticipating changes in clients' needs, and tailoring solutions to meet evolving requirements.
  • You must have excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to convey business and technical concepts to a diverse customer base and to internal teams in a clear and concise manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • You have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a combination of equivalent experience and education, as well as a minimum of 8+ years prior consultative sales experience, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Experience in the water industry preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Travel up to 35% as needed.
  • Professional Engineering License
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (eg. Salesforce) would be a plus.
