Summary: Assists the Lab Director with the coordination of the operational activities and administrative duties within the shared resource; oversees daily laboratory activities and supervises laboratory staff members; coordinates requests from customers and assigns projects to staff; assists the Resource Director with management (analysis, summary and storage) of experimental data and the facility's operational data; performs and manages simple and complex experimental/laboratory tasks as directed by the Resource Director to provide services or laboratory results for customers/investigator to use in research projects focused on the treatment and prevention of cancer, cancer-related diseases, and related disciplines in a timely, accurate and dependable manner. Assists with the preparation of budgets, statements of work, and other documents requested by internal and external customers for publication and grant submission. The salary range for this position is $93,219 - $116,747 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
1. PhD degree in biological science or a related discipline and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time flow or imaging flow cytometry experience; or
2. Master's degree in biological science or a related discipline and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time flow or imaging flow cytometry experience; or
3. Bachelor's degree in biological science or a related discipline and the equivalent of ten (10) years of full-time flow or imaging flow cytometry experience.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
