RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Admin/Engineer-Senior (WebSphere/ WebLogic) in Laurel, MD.Key Tasks:- Support implementation and maintenance of Oracle WAM
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit requirements and processes
- Design software solutions that adhere to programming best practices
- Develop customized database programs to enhance COTS products
- Create and maintain integrations to external applications
- Perform unit testing to validate solutions; Assist with user acceptance testing
- Follow change management procedures to migrate new solutions to Production
- Provide production support by troubleshooting and resolving identified issues
- Follow service level agreement (SLA) metrics when resolving production issues
- Collaborate with the IT team to deliver secure solutions on schedule and budget
- Mitigate security vulnerabilities by working with IT Security and COTS vendors
- Work with COTS vendors to support, maintain, and upgrade applications
- Configure maintenance objects and business objects in Oracle WAM
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university majoring in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred; At least ten (10) years of professional job-related experience with a Bachelor's degree or eight (8) years with a Master's degree
- Must have experience working on complex initiatives that span multiple stakeholders or businesses
- Must have knowledge and experience in SQL queries and database design
- Must have experience in test-driven development
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
