Tax Manager

• Manage all aspects of tax return preparations ensuring compliance with applicable federal/state regulations
• Review complex tax returns prepared by team members for accuracy, completeness, and timely filing
• Review complex tax planning projections for individual and partnership tax
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liability and ensure compliance with tax laws
• Prepare tax models to assist clients with an understanding of how tax planning affects cash flow
• Provide tax compliance and advisory services including analyzing business processes while identifying ways to automate processes and/or implement improved processes
• Keep informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge and research to clients' needs
• Assuming a leadership role in developing and mentoring staff
• Effectively and appropriately delegating assignments to promote an environment of mentoring and team work
• Identify areas of specialization while continuously refining skills, knowledge, and expertise
• Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
