Come join the lab team at Mass general/North Shore Center for Outpatient care in Danvers. We are a small clinical lab that supports the Mass general Cancer Center, Day Surgery, Imaging and NSPG Urgent Care clinical departments.
Per the direction of the section supervisor, performs a variety of laboratory processes utilizing independent judgment and maintaining responsibility for assigned duties. Must be familiar with general laboratory procedures. Must be computer literate.
The Technical Lab Assistant is an integral part of the lab team. Tasks include specimen receiving, processing and batching, client services including fielding phone calls and general lab maintenance.
Per Diem, variable shifts, M-F only 6:30a-3p, 8a-2p, 2p-6p.
Qualifications
Required Ability to handle several processes concurrently. Ability to deal with a wide range of personalities.
Required Graduate of High School or equivalent.
Preferred Pursuing Associates or Bachelor degree in science preferred or equivalent.
