The Walmart+ Value Proposition team is accountable for driving membership growth by expanding the member value proposition through the creation and optimization of benefits, offers and events.

We are looking for a talented Director, Walmart+ Value Proposition Strategy to evolve the overall membership value proposition and Walmart Cash strategy and prioritize the benefits development roadmap. The ideal candidate is someone who can combine a member-first mindset with a bias for action to quickly drive results for our members and for the business. This candidate must have the ability to get things done by influencing key stakeholders across a wide range of teams within Walmart. We are looking for someone who will think big, ruthlessly prioritize to focus on the highest impact efforts, and mobilize cross-functional partners to execute against an aggressive growth roadmap. This is a high visibility role with the ability to make a significant impact on our business goals.

What you'll do...

  • Conduct extensive need state/value territory research and competitive analyses in partnership with key internal stakeholders to identify customer insights and opportunity gaps that inform new benefits, offers, events and pricing.
  • Partner with 1P and 3P benefits development teams to analyze business metrics and member behavior to ensure existing benefits are being utilized and are adding value to Walmart+ members. Influence initiatives that drive continuous optimization and improvement of current suite of benefits, securing buy-in from key stakeholders across the organization including senior leadership.
  • Identify territories where external partnerships that could bring valued third-party benefits or limited time offers to Walmart+ members and collaborate with Business Development team to determine the right partners and benefit constructs. Support Business Development team throughout deals flow as needed.
  • Develop Walmart Cash strategy and initiatives, partnering with relevant parties (e.g. acquisition and retention teams, business development & partnerships teams, etc.) to build, launch and optimize these efforts.
  • Serve as business lead for Walmart Cash and limited time offer product experiences; prioritize new features and capabilities that increase member awareness and engagement.
  • Partner with product, technology and marketing teams to prioritize benefits feature development into relevant Walmart+ roadmaps.
  • Own the benefits idea intake & governance process, collaborating with all levels of the organization to create ongoing feedback loop that supports future benefit development and fuels the enterprise flywheel.
  • Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open-Door Policy.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and 5 years' experience in strategy, business development, merchandising, data analytics, consulting, or related field OR 7 years' experience in strategy, business development, merchandising, data analytics, consulting, or related field.
5 years' supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

















Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 6 years' experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 8 years' experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area.
