As a Principal Content Designer - Conversational Experiences,you'llset the vision for the best customerand assistant experiencesandcollaborateclosely with cross-functional partners.You will use your knowledge of NLU, NLP, GenAI and Design Thinking process to collaborate with partner teams,facilitateconversations, create concepts, frameworks, training material, run design sprints and build rapid prototypes toleveragethe collective creativity. You'llemploy your great strengths in storytelling to present your vision and design rationale in a compelling, convincing manner to cross-functional partners and the leadership team.While working with partners todeterminea shared planforwardthat balances business and technology considerations,you'llcraft experiences that areintuitiveto useand accessible for all.

  • Experience working with NLU, IVR or GenAI models.

  • Designing at the highest level of craftfor a broad population of Walmart customers.

  • Leading a program of work and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partnersthroughdelivery.

  • Creating the conversational strategy and setting the design direction for the program that delivers on the user needs and business goals.

  • Activelysolicitingfeedback from peers and cross-functional stakeholders though theproduct design lifecycle.

  • Engaging the design research team at the right points during the design process to ensure the right insights inform the work.

  • Rapid prototyping and experimenting in a fast-paced environment.

  • Multitasking across different projects and adapting to changing priorities.

  • Creating scalable experiences in partnership with our Design Systems team.

  • Communicating effectively with kindness and empathy.

  • Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners.

  • Staying up to date with the latest trends, in and out of retail.

Preferred qualifications:

  • DegreeinCommunications, Digital Design,or similar

  • 7+yearsof experience in conversation design, UX content or copywriting.

  • Have afantastic portfolio of elegant design solutions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 7 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.

Design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate), Driving product development in a user experience area, Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area, Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare), UI/UX, Interactive and Visual Design, Electronics Art, Multimedia Design, or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
