What will you be doing?

As the Vice President of Technology in the Professional Services Team, you will be responsible for leading, managing and growing a team that implements custom data analytics applications leveraging Circana's Liquid Data platform. Primary responsibilities are:

• Attending pre-sales meetings with potential clients to understand business drivers.
• Reviewing implementation team capacity and engineering development estimates prior to contract signature.
• Managing and growing multiple implementation teams.
• Supporting and guiding implementation teams on large-scale, complex projects.
• Coordinating across technology verticals (infrastructure, application, data) for architecture, design, implementation and support.

Job Responsibilities

• Technology architecture leadership for data ingestion for multiple global clients.
• Formulation and execution of strategies to process large, complex datasets.
• Overall technical project management of data ingestion projects.
• Responsible for leading teams to load data into Circana's Liquid Data platform.
• Ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing clients.
• Pre-sales support.

Requirements

• 15+ years Business Analytics Technology Architecture experience.
• 10+ years experience leading globally distributed teams.
• 5+ years experience with cloud data ingestion architectures (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, DataBricks, GPS)
• Experience with multi-terabyte datasets.
• 10+ years experience with Python, PySpark and Java application architecture and development
• 10+ years experience and working knowledge of Unix/Linux, networking, storage architecture and authentication as it relates to data ingestion.
• Strong Agile software engineering methodology skills.
• Experience presenting complex data and technology topics to a variety of audiences ranging from executives to engineering resources.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $220,000 - $250,000/yr.
