Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
We are working with a client in the Clara City, MN area seeking a Warehouse Manager. This role requires a strategic approach to optimize inventory management, logistics, and facility utilization, ensuring seamless integration with the production process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and lean principles.
Responsibilities

• Production Support: Collaborate closely with production planning to ensure timely supply of raw materials and components. Manage finished goods inventory levels to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Inventory Management: Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy. Analyze inventory turnover rates and optimize stock levels.
• Logistics and Transportation: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation planning, carrier management, and freight cost optimization. Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments for efficient operations.
• Warehouse Operations: Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and develop warehouse staff. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Implement lean manufacturing principles and utilize data analytics to drive process optimization.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
