Zscaler Cybersecurity Engineer (remote)

Position Description

This exciting opportunity is a full-time, permanent role with Converge. As an Engineer within the Cybersecurity Strategy & Defense practice, you will act as a trusted advisor to our client base. The Engineer will provide expertise and guidance in technical service delivery efforts, specifically around Zero Trust technologies. We invest heavily in our team members growth with cross-technology and certification training.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering functions for Zscaler and other Zero Trust technologies within client environments
• Assess and troubleshoot security solutions
• Integrate solutions with other third party cybersecurity tools
• Conduct patches and updates
• Formulate security recommendations based on events within Zero Trust environments
• Work to speed up projects in creating a single point of entry for clients
• Communicate project status and escalate issues as needed
• Work in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually to support clients security applications
• Work on special projects as assigned

• 4+ years of experience in a professional cybersecurity capacity
• 2+ years of experience working within Zero Trust
• Technical depth with Zscaler is required
• Operational Technology (OT) and/or Network Security background is a huge plus
• Experience implementing and integrating security solutions
• Industry and/or security product certifications are preferred
